Function

The mandate of the Committee is to provide advice to the Government on the development of strategies, priorities and programs, which affect Ontario's Francophone community, and on the planning and delivery of government French-language services.

Membership

The Committee shall be composed of up to 13 members, including a chair, all appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

Term

Not more than 3 years

Meetings

As often as deemed necessary by the Minister and at least 3 times a year.

Remuneration

Appointees are eligible to receive expenses.
