The committee provides ongoing information and advises the Minister regarding the development of policy and the delivery of programs respecting the allocation of moose and black bear hunting opportunities amongst tourist outfitters.
The Lieutenant Governor in Council appoints six members, including the chair
The members of the committee may be appointed for a term of three years or less and are eligible for reappointment. Subsequent re-appointments will be for a term of three years.
- The committee meets two or three times per year.
- Appointees are remunerated according to Schedule A, Level 1 of the Agencies and Appointments Directive
