BROOKS-HILL, HEATHER
Heather Brooks-Hill is a palliative care professional and President and Chair of the Artists/ Environmental Forum of Toronto. Prior to this, Ms. Brooks-Hill worked in childbirth, environmental and public education sectors for non-governmental organizations in Toronto and North Kawartha. In addition, her work on bereavement support with the EQUINOX project has been presented at national and international conferences. Ms. Brooks-Hill serves as member of the Occupational and Environmental Health Coalition in Peterborough and Co-Project Coordinator of the Uganda-Canada Project "Exploring the Wisdom of the Natural World".
SPENCE, EDWARD (TED)
Prof. Edward Spence is a registered Professional Planner in Ontario and a Professor in Environmental Studies at York University. Through the course of his thirty-seven year career with the University, Prof. Spence served as Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies and as Senior Policy Advisor to the President of York University. Prof. Spence serves his community as member of the Ecological Integrity Sub-committee of the Kawartha Highlands Signature Site Park Management Advisory Board, member of the Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations, Director of the Catchacoma Cottagers Association, and Director of Cavendish Community Ratepayers Association Inc. Prof. Spence is a graduate of the University of Alberta and the University of Western Ontario.
MADDEN, JULIA
Julia Madden holds an undergraduate degree in recreation management, an MBA and is certified as a Human Resources Professional. Her past volunteer activities include supporting several municipal recreation advisory committees, the Lake of Bays Tourism Task Force and the Muskoka Trails Advisory Committee. She currently works for Conservation Halton as the Area Manager for Crawford Lake and Mountsberg Conservation Areas.
