COUNCIL OF THE COLLEGE OF MIDWIVES OF ONTARIO


SALAMAT, GEMMA
Gemma Salamat is a certified Human Resource Professional. She was the lead consultant of a Governance Review of a pension fund for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario from 2002 to 2008. Prior to this, Ms. Salamat was a Financial Consultant at Kingsgate Securities, a Managing Partner at GPS Consulting Services and Superintendent of Pensions at the Pension Commission of Ontario. She is currently a volunteer at TARIC Islamic Centre and a past member of the Centre's Executive.


LEMON, JENNIFER
Jennifer Lemon is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant who received a Diploma of Natural Nutrition with Honours in 2004 from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a contributing author of Healing Diabetes, CCNM Press (2007), and author of "Change in Plans", Natural Life Magazine (2010). She was Naturopathic Clinic & Research Aide with the Bedford Naturopathic Clinic in Bedford, Nova Scotia from 2005 to 2006. She is a member of the Pine River Elementary School Parent Council and the Wholistic Parents Group. Ms. Lemon previously served as Public Relations Chair and board member of the CFB Borden Military Family Resource Centre Board of Directors.


DICKENSON, ROCHELLE
Rochelle Dickenson is the principal RCIC and Paralegal at Exodus Immigration and Legal Services. She is also a professor at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario where she teaches courses in Landlord Tenant law, Tribunal Practice and Procedure, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has also taught courses in Evidence and Litigation and Criminal Summary Conviction Procedure. Mrs. Dickenson holds an honours degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor and a post-graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. She is licensed by the ICCRC and the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is a former Refugee Protection Officer with the Immigration and Refugee Board and also worked for the Federal Courts for over 10 years.


LEWIS, SUSAN (SALLY) ALICE
Susan Lewis previously served as Vice President of Performance Excellence with the Trillium Health Centre. Ms. Lewis was also a member of the Ontario Parole and Earned Release Board. Her community involvement has included serving as Chair of the Dorothy Ley Hospice Board of Directors, and as Chair of the board of Caring for Young Minds. She is a retired member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. Ms. Lewis holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School.


STASIW, JOHN
John Stasiw was a Senior Executive in profit and loss management, asset management, business, and product and people development. He is a decision maker experienced in start-ups, turnaround and growth opportunities. He is an innovative strategist delivering on opportunities within products, channels and geographies. He is a multifaceted business leader successful in a broad base of industries and functions. He recently retired as the President of Simmons Canada and completed a Board of Directors term with Headwaters Healthcare in Orangeville Ontario.
