Gemma Salamat is a certified Human Resource Professional. She was the lead consultant of a Governance Review of a pension fund for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario from 2002 to 2008. Prior to this, Ms. Salamat was a Financial Consultant at Kingsgate Securities, a Managing Partner at GPS Consulting Services and Superintendent of Pensions at the Pension Commission of Ontario. She is currently a volunteer at TARIC Islamic Centre and a past member of the Centre's Executive.
Philip Playfair is Founder and CEO of Lowfoot Inc. He is also a former Project Manager with Ross Playfair Letters Project and former Founder and Chief Marketing Officer with Advanced Utility Systems. His community involvement has included serving as President of the Trent Alumni Association and as a coach with the Humber Valley Hockey Association. Mr. Playfair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University.
Caroline Brett is Executive Associate with the Chair's Office at Mandrake Management Consultants. Prior to this, Ms. Brett was Merchandising Representative with Retail Account Marketing Management. She has served as a Committee member of the Emerald Ball for Ireland Fund of Canada 2008 and has been involved in fundraising efforts in her community. Ms. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University. She is a qualified Licensed Paralegal and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Jennifer Lemon is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant who received a Diploma of Natural Nutrition with Honours in 2004 from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a contributing author of Healing Diabetes, CCNM Press (2007), and author of "Change in Plans", Natural Life Magazine (2010). She was Naturopathic Clinic & Research Aide with the Bedford Naturopathic Clinic in Bedford, Nova Scotia from 2005 to 2006. She is a member of the Pine River Elementary School Parent Council and the Wholistic Parents Group. Ms. Lemon previously served as Public Relations Chair and board member of the CFB Borden Military Family Resource Centre Board of Directors.
Rochelle Dickenson is the principal RCIC and Paralegal at Exodus Immigration and Legal Services. She is also a professor at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario where she teaches courses in Landlord Tenant law, Tribunal Practice and Procedure, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has also taught courses in Evidence and Litigation and Criminal Summary Conviction Procedure. Mrs. Dickenson holds an honours degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor and a post-graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. She is licensed by the ICCRC and the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is a former Refugee Protection Officer with the Immigration and Refugee Board and also worked for the Federal Courts for over 10 years.
Fern Sager co-founded the firm of Sager and Sager, where she currently practices as a litigator and mediator. She is a seminar speaker and has designed a 6-course certificate program entitled Conflict Management and Conflict Resolution and taught Advocacy, Negotiation and Mediation for Sheridan College. She has also been an instructor in the Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections of the Bar Admission course. Recently, Ms. Sager was a Senior Manager in the Legal Talent Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP for 10 years. She holds Bachelor and Master of Laws degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School.
