Robert Patchett, of Ottawa, is a Vice-Chair (part-time) of the Landlord and Tenant Board and Lieutenant-Colonel Infantry Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, and former Senior Strategic Policy Advisor and Senior Military Advisor, Department of National Defence/Canadian Forces Housing Agency. His community involvement includes serving as Branch Service Officer with the Royal Canada Legion.
Sonia Ouellet is a member of the Law Society of Ontario since 1998. She has extensive experience as a bilingual adjudicator. In June 2020, she obtained an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management and mediation. From May 2010 - May 2020, she was Vice Chair at the Health Professions and Health Services Appeal and Review Boards and assumed several leadership roles during her mandate. From 2003-2010, she was the Executive Director for the Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario (AJEFO) and was in private practice from 1998 to 2003. Ms. Ouellet's community involvement spends over two decades. She was a Board member of the Law Commission of Ontario (2013 to 2020), president of AJEFO (2016-2018), a member of the Treasurer's Liaison Group (2016 - 2018) and a member of the Equity and Indigenous Affairs Committee (2017-2018). In 2011, she received the AJEFO Ordre du mérite in recognition of her leadership and commitment to promote access to justice in French.
Sean Weir was CEO of Canada’s largest national law firm from 2000 to July 1, 2018. In his legal practice, Mr. Weir advised financial institutions, corporations and major pension funds. Active in his community, Mr. Weir served as an elected Councillor of the Town of Oakville, a director of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and a Director and Chair of Oakville Hydro. Mr. Weir was named a “Diversity Champion” by Women of Influence Magazine, received the Lexpert Zenith Managing Partner Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and was listed in the Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada.
