GENEVIEVE PAINCHAUD

is a bilingual Realtor in the Ottawa area, with extensive community involvement through her work as a Board Director at Ontario 211 and in many other local organizations. She is also a marketing professional, having developed her expertise in her roles with Trimark Mutual Funds (Invesco) and Bell TV, and as a Professor at College La Cite in the Business Faculty.

MARGARET CATHERINE BANNING

(Margaret) Catherine Banning is a proud Nishnabe-qwe band member of Fort William First Nation and lifetime resident of Northwestern Ontario. Currently, General Manager for Maawandoon Inc. an aboriginal business specializing in indigenous engagement, capacity and infrastructure development, First Nation Governance Policy and Procedure Development. She was appointed the Ratification Officer for Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek Land Code development and Matrimonial Real Property Law. Prior to First Nations work Catherine spent 27 years in the financial services sector as Chief Credit Officer managing a 5-branch institution, 45 employees, adjudicating a 70-million-dollar loan portfolio. In 2003 Catherine was awarded the Ontario Credit Union Professional of the Year. She has served on the Friends of Chippewa Park, the Nor'West Community Health Centre, Fort William First Nation Remembrance Day Ctee and Credit Union Manager's Association. All that aside I am a hobby farmer living in Ware Ontario.

DOUG WELLMAN

is President and Owner with Wellman Financial. His community involvement includes serving as Chair of the Ajax-Pickering United Way fundraising campaign and former board member for the Ajax-Pickering Hospital. He is a member of Independent Financial Brokers of Canada (IFBC).

HASSAN PIRNIA

Hassan Pirnia joined BMO in 2016 as the Head of Personal Lending and Home Financing. In this role he is accountable for the overall strategy, P&L and risk management for Canadian mortgages, personal lending, and auto finance portfolios. Hassan also serves as the CEO and director of BMO Mortgage corporation. Prior to joining BMO, Hassan spent over 16 years at CIBC in progressively senior roles. Most recently he was the Vice President of Marketing Solutions. He was formerly on the board of directors of Parkinson Canada where he served as the Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. In addition, he has served as a director on the CIBC Insurance Inc. and MDHomeCall Inc boards. Hassan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations. As well, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB).

LOUIS GAGNON

Louis Gagnon is a Professor of Finance at Queen’s University. His community involvement has included serving as President, Vice-President, Board Member, and 2016 NFA conference Co-Chair for the Northern Finance Association.

FRANK MCCREA

Franch McCrea is Chief Executive Officer of the Professional Computer Consultants Group. His community involvement has included serving as Founder/Board Member for Perram House.
