Species at Risk Program Advisory Committee

PAUL NORRIS

Paul Norris is President of the Ontario Waterpower Association (OWA). He is a former Manager of the Wildlife Section and a Senior Policy Advisor of Waterpower with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Mr. Norris' community involvement includes having served as a board member and Chair of Northern Lights Daycare and North Shore School Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, a Public Education diploma from Ryerson University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University and the Certified Association Executive designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

CHRISTINE SCHEEWE

Christine Scheewe is a Master Gardener in Training (Halton Region) and currently a Horticulture Student at the University of Guelph. She is passionate about food scarcity issues and sustainable urban agriculture. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, specializing in political science, public relations, and advocacy.

BRYAN GILVESY

Brian Gilvesy is Interim Executive Director of ALUS Canada (Alternative Land Use Services) and Proprietor of YU Ranch. He is a past member of the Ontario Agricultural Biomass Steering Committee and the Ontario Bobolink Round Table. Mr. Gilvesy holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

MATT DEMILLE

is the Manager of Fish and Wildlife Services with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH). His primary responsibilities with the OFAH include overseeing on-the-ground fish and wildlife conservation programs, working with conservation community partners, and advocating for optimal science-based fish and wildlife management. Mr. DeMille holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Biology from Queen's University.

IAN DUNN

is the Director of Forest Policy at the Ontario Forestry Industries Association. In this role, he analyzes and recommends policy as it relates to sustainable forest management across the province. His community involvement includes volunteering with the Far North Terrestrial Biodiversity Field Crew with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Mr. Dunn is a graduate of the Master in Forest Conservation degree program at the University of Toronto and he is a Registered Professional Forester.

ASHLEE ZELEK

is a Manager of Environment and Education at Ontario Stone, Sand and Gravel Association and a former Intermediate Environmental Specialist at Blue Heron Environmental. Her community involvement includes serving on the Ontario Biodiversity Council and the Canadian Land Reclamation Association. Ms. Zelek holds a Master of Environmental and Resource Management Degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University.

TIM PRIOR

Tim Prior is owner of Brussels Agri Services Ltd. His community involvement includes serving as 1st Vice-President of Brussels Lions Club.

BLAIR WILLIAMSON

Blair Williamson is from Lambton Shores, ON. Blair attended the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus for the agricultural program and then the Business Insurance program at Fanshaw College. Blair owns and operates a beef farm and works in the insurance industry. Blair has been involved with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture and Beef Farmers of Ontario in an advisory level.
