Ontario Agency For Health Protection And Promotion (Public Health Ontario)

ISRA LEVY

Isra Levy is a specialist in Public Health and Preventative Medicine and epidemiologist. He is currently Vice President of Medical Affairs and Innovation at Canadian Blood Services and has previously held positions as Medical Officer of Health for the City of Ottawa, and Chief Medical Officer at the Canadian Medical Association. He has also provided consultant services to Health Canada in cancer epidemiology and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario in complex occupational disease case reviews, and in an Adjunct Professor at the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa.

TERRI MCKINNON

Theresa McKinnon is an assurance partner who has worked with not-for-profit organizations and government funded entities for over 30 years. Her healthcare experience ranges from hospitals, long-term care to community health organizations. Terri has led teams for many hospital financial statement audit engagements for 20 years. Her acute healthcare experience includes community, large academic research as well as speciality hospitals. Senior management regularly seek her advice on improving systems of internal controls, operational structures and funding reform. On a personal note, Terri is involved with Boards of not-for-profit organizations where she provides business advice and treasury support. Terri is the Vice-President of Ladies Golf Club of Toronto and is the past Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Scarborough Health Network and past Board member at Junior Achievement of Central Ontario and Girl Guides of Canada.

Mark Criger is an Indigenous Advisor for the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion at the University of Toronto.

IAN MCKILLOP

Professor Ian McKillop joined the University of Waterloo in 2004 to take up the inaugural JW Graham Research Chair in Health Information Systems. Jointly appointed to both the School of Public Health Sciences and the Cheriton School of Computer Science, Ian works in the fields of information management and systems assurance with a particular focus on issues related to incident response, information security and performance management. As a public health professional with an accounting background, Ian brings a unique perspective bridging the worlds of public health and administration. He teaches courses on management, public health informatics as well as information security and privacy. Dr McKillop’s work has contributed to a number of standards and best practice recommendations as well as to national and provincial commissions and inquiries.

Dr. Andy Smith is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

S. FORD RALPH

is a past Director of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc. and a member of the Audit Committee and the Investment Review Committee. Ford is a past Governor of the Shaw Festival and was a member of the Finance and Audit Committee, Governance Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee. At the time of his retirement, Ford was a Vice-President of Petro Canada, responsible for its retail and wholesale operations across Canada.

ROXANNE ANDERSON

Roxanne Anderson (MBA, FCPA, FCA, ICD.D) is the Senior Vice President of Business Optimization and the Chief Financial Officer of the Victorian Order of Nurses, a large health care organization. Roxanne’s portfolio includes VON’s digital healthcare transformation and VON’s cyber security posture. Roxanne was previously a managing partner with PwC. Roxanne’s board experience includes being a Board Trustee of the Royal Ottawa Hospital Health Care Group, Chair of the Board of the Royal's Institute for Mental Health Research, Treasurer and Board member of the Distress Centre of Ottawa Region, Co-chair of the Ottawa Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Board member and Chair of the Audit Committee of Quarterhill Inc., and member of the Departmental Audit Committee of Shared Services Canada. Roxanne is a participant in the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging.

ROB NOTMAN

Rob Notman is a former Managing Director of Ottawa and N.E. Ontario for Optimum Talent, and a former Director of Marketing Programs for General Dynamics Canada (formerly Computer Devices Canada). His community involvement has included serving as Chair and Board Trustee for the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group Board of Trustees.

DAVID WEXLER

David Wexler is a Senior Advisor, Executive Coach, and Board member. David has over 30 years of senior executive full-time and interim leadership roles across a wide range of industries including aviation, technology, financial services and consumer packaged goods. These include key executive line and HR roles with The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, the GTAA, EA Sports, CIBC, Alias Systems Inc. and Procter & Gamble. He has had a significant impact in enhancing organizational success by building sustainable competitive advantage through people. David is past Board member and Chair of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee for The Legal Aid Society of Ontario and is a past board member and HRCC Chair of the $2 Billion CancerCare Ontario Corporation. David has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University and is a certified director, with his ICD.d designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is fluent in both French and English.
