Council of the College of Optometrists of Ontario

TOYE SOILE

Toye Soile is a certified Project Manager and Scrum Master. He is an alumnus of the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto Advanced HR Management and has worked in both the private and public sectors. He has been involved in fund raising activities for Federated Health and United Way campaigns.

LISA HOLLAND

Lisa Holland is a lawyer in the Province of Ontario and resides in the City of Mississauga. Her legal practice has focused on the area of personal injury litigation and disability claims. She has a medical background with experience working in hospitals. Lisa also serves on the executive board at the Mississauga Potters Guild.

SUZANNE ALLEN

is a retired business woman and has always had challenging positions in Ontario and Quebec. Her business experience includes working for Chartered Accountants’ firms and a large electronics communication company. She is very involved in her community and has served on various Board.

HOWARD KENNEDY

Howard Kennedy is a former ophthalmic assistant for iCare Surgical and Optical. Howard’s community involvement includes serving an infanteer/infantry Officer/musician for Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserves.

NARENDRA SHAH

Narendra Shah is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of management and governance experience in diverse health care settings including a research organization, teaching and community hospitals in Toronto and Ottawa. He has also worked in senior management capacity with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and with Mississauga Halton Local Health integration Network where he was the Chief Operating Officer. He has served on several not-for-profit boards including the United Way of peel Region. Currently, he is Chair of Nucleus Independent Living Board, an agency that provides supportive care at home to seniors and adults with disabilities. He received his MHSc in Health Administration from University of Toronto and is a certified health care executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

ESTHER JOODA

Esther Jooda is an HR thought leader and strategic business partner that provides strategic, advisory, and consulting support to business leaders. she has over a decade experience helping organizations develop and deploy future forward HR strategies and solutions that addresses current and future business challenges. She is the coverner of the Nigerian Canadian HR community where she helps Nigerian immigrants integrate into the Canadian work ecosystem. Esther has passion for helping disadvantaged children across the world, dream big and create opportunities for them to thrive and achieve those dreams by providing basic needs of life, shelter, food, clothing, education, healthcare, and lifelong skills. She has an Executive MBA from Ivey School of Business and a master’s degree in human resources. “Being human” is my motto.
