Council of the College of Early Childhood Educators

MARY BROGA

Mary Broga has experience as an Executive Director at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare which is a lead agency for children and youth mental health. She has also served as Executive Director and Psychologist at Regional Children`s Centre. Ms. Broga is a former Adjunct Associate Professor for the University of Windsor. Her community involvement includes Chair to the board of Hospice of Windsor and Essex County and member of the Provincial Council of Maternal & Child Health and Ontario Genealogical Society, among others. She has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western University. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and College of Psychologists of Ontario. Recipient of the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee medal.

GENEVIÈVE BRETON

Geneviève Breton is the Vice-President for Public Affairs and IT for Ingenium - Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation. Geneviève holds an Bachelor of Commerce from University of Ottawa.

SHERNETT MARTIN

Shernett Matin is a Teacher and Consultant for Toronto District School Board. Shernett’s community involvement includes serving as Executive Director for Vaughan African Canadian Association.

ADESUA EZEOKAFOR

Adesua Ezeokafor is the Chief Financial Officer of OS&B Ltd. As an officer of the company, Adesua leads the Finance and Accounting functions. Before this role, Adesua was Director of Finance at Onsero Pharmaceuticals, a Biotechnology company headquartered in Boston, MA. Adesua's career in the Biotech space included time as the Associate Director, heading Canadian Financial Operations at Fusion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: FUSN), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario. Previously, Adesua led the Finance & Performance Analysis team at Phillips 66 Canada, a multibillion-dollar energy corporation. Adesua also led the Phillips 66 Canada women's network. In addition, she led a campaign to raise awareness for dozens of kidnapped girls in remote villages in Nigeria. Adesua is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. She obtained her MBA from the University of Houston, Texas, and her bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Benin. Adesua serves as Chair of the Board at OakMed Family Health, a nonprofit team of Physicians and health practitioners focused on providing integrated and comprehensive community-based healthcare.

RICHARD FILION

Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery. University of Toronto Class of 6T6 Served for 18 years with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and worked in my practice for 40 Years. Elected to Springer Township and West Nipissing Municipal Council. Served on councils of the RCDS, the Law Society of Upper Canada, The College of Teachers of Ontario. Taught Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College in Sudbury. Served as a member of council on Lands for Life, Great Lakes St Laurence Round Table. Appointed to the North Bay and Parry Sound Health Unit. Member of the Sturgeon Falls Rod and Gun Club and served on the Council of Ontario Federation of Hunters and Anglers. Completely Bilingual in the English and French Language.

MICHELLE EATON

Michelle Eaton is Vice President of Public Affairs at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. A communications and public affairs professional for close to 20 years, Michelle joined the Ontario Chamber of Commerce in 2018. Prior to that, she has provided strategic direction, vision, and advice on communications and public affairs strategies to executives in Fortune 500 companies as well as senior federal cabinet ministers. Michelle is the Chair of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and serves as an advisor on the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity and The King’s Promise, a signature program by King’s University College that guarantees students meaningful employment within their first six months post-graduation. Michelle has a BA (Hons) in Political Science and French from Western University as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School. She lives in Toronto with her husband Thor.
