GUPTA, ROMILLASince 1993, Romilla Gupta, of Toronto, has been a Health Promotion Consultant with the Toronto Public Health Division. Previously, Ms. Gupta was employed as a Health Promotion Manager with the Durham Region Public Health Department (1989-1993), a Lecturer at the University of Toronto (1986-1989) and a Researcher at the University of British Columbia (1983-1986). Ms. Gupta's community involvement includes serving as a mentor for student volunteers, Ronald McDonald House (2002-present) and as a Fundraiser for the Devi Temple, Pickering (1999- present). She holds a Master of Arts in Behavioural Health Sciences from the University of Toronto.
CHAUDHRY, BABARBabar Chaudhry, of Mississauga, is currently a Clinical Research Coordinator at Allied Research Inc. Previously, he was a Resident Physiotherapist at Brampton Physiotherapy and Rehab Centre and a Quality Control Specialist with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Chaudhry volunteers at Etobicoke General Hospital and is a member of the International Association for Pain. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physiotherapy and a Master of Bio-Chemistry from Punjab University.
PLETSCH, ROBERT W.Robert Pletsch is a retired school principal. His career has included serving as a teacher, consultant, writer and elected trustee. Mr. Pletsch taught two years on exchange in the United Kingdom and served two years with the former North York Board of Education's Community Services Department. Mr. Pletsch serves as a member and Chair of the Committee of Adjustment of the City of Toronto. Previously, Mr. Pletsch was National President of UNICEF Canada, where he served for twenty visiting international projects and reporting back to members across the country. Mr. Pletsch is an Honorary Life Member of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.
LEE, JAMESJames Lee, of St. Catharines, is Principal of James Lee & Associates (Management & Leadership Specialists). For twenty years, Mr. Lee worked in the for-profit health care sector as Treasurer and Manager of Administration for Laurentian Health Services Ltd. His community involvement includes serving as President and member of the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program.
MISZUK, HEDYHedy Miszuk owned and operated her own fundraising and event planning company, was a Development Manager with the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton, and a Financial Coordinator with Hamilton Civic Hospitals. Ms. Miszuk has served as a member of the Health Services Appeal and Review Board, Chair of the Employment Insurance Board of Referees, member and Chair of the Finance Committee of L'Arche Hamilton, member of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, and she volunteered with the Good Shepherd Centres' Outreach Program in Hamilton.
