BADALI, SALVATORE (SAL)Salvatore Badali, of Toronto, has extensive experience in finance, strategic planning and governance. Mr. Badali is Director of the Public Sector Practice in the Strategy and Operations group of Deloitte. He has worked on a range of projects within the private, public and voluntary sectors in Canada and around the world. He holds a Master of Business Administration from York University, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for service to the community. Mr. Badali serves on the Board of the National Ballet School and was formerly on the Boards of the Sunnybrook and Women's Health Science Centre, the Gardiner Museum and the Orthopaedic and Arthritic Hospital, where he served as Chair.
KIM, WON J.Won Kim, of Toronto, is Managing Partner with REKO Barristers LLP. Mr. Kim is a frequent lecturer on issues of class actions and has been repeatedly ranked by LEXPERT as one of Canada's leading class action practitioners. He is Founding Director and a member of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association and past member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Mr. Kim is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation.
SALDANHA, COLINDr. Colin Saldanha, of Mississauga, practices family, travel and corporate medicine. Dr. Saldanha's community involvement includes serving as a member of the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre Fundraising Cabinet at the University of Toronto, Mississauga, Vice Chair of the United Way of Peel and Chair of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce Health Policy Committee and the Mississauga Board of Trade. Previously he served as President of the Peel Multicultural Council, Vice Chair of the Peel Police Services Board, Vice President and President of the Canadian Association of Police Board, and President and Chair of the Mississauga Board of Trade.
DUMYN, ANNAnn Dumyn is managing partner of the private consulting company Arrawac Associates Inc. and corporate director for Aeroquest International Limited. She is the former vice-president of Aboriginal and northern affairs at SNC-Lavalin Inc. Ms. Dumyn began her career with the Bank of Montreal, retiring after 32 years of service. She is a member of the board of governors of Lakehead University and a member of the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity, Dufferin-Caledon.
HAGGIS, PAUL G.Paul Haggis has been President and CEO of OMERS since 2003. Prior to this, he held the position of President and CEO of Edmonton-based Princeton Developments Limited. He served as a director on the Public Sector Pension Investment Board from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Haggis also held the positions of President and CEO for Alberta Treasury Branches and Executive Vice President, Business Development and Chief Credit Officer at Manulife Financial. Mr. Haggis was a member of the Canadian Forces, commissioned into the airforce reserve in 1971.
WOLFSON, JUDITHJudith Wolfson, of Toronto, is the President and CEO of Interac Association and Acxsys Corporation. Interac Association is responsible for Canada's two national networks for shared electronic financial services. Acxsys Corporation specializes in the development and operation of new payment services. Between 1991-1998, Ms. Wolfson was the Deputy Minister of several portfolios in the Ontario Government. She also practiced law with the law firm McCarthy Térault. Ms. Wolfson is a member of both not-for-profit and private sector Boards. She has been a member on the Board of Directors, Sunnybrook and Women's Health Science Centre for five years.
WILDING, CAROL ANNCarol Wilding is President and CEO of the Toronto Board of Trade. Ms. Wilding has served as President of Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, President and CEO of Foster Parents Plan Canada, and has served in accountancy roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Wilding is a member of the Toronto City Summit Alliance, member of the Board of Pickering College, member of the Young Presidents' Organization, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She has been honoured with the Outstanding Public Contribution Alumni Award from the Schulich Business School, the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, and the Public Sector Excellence Award for Technology.
PILKINGTON, MARILYNMarilyn Pilkington, BA Hon (Alberta), LLB (Toronto), Hon LLD (Law Society of Upper Canada) is a member of the faculty of Osgoode Hall Law School, and was Dean from 1993 to 1998. She has served as an elected Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and on law reform projects, public policy institutes, tribunals dealing with human rights, trade, and professional discipline, and on boards for not-for-profit organizations. She has also acted as a consultant at home and abroad, as an arbitrator and mediator, and as independent chair of corporate meetings.
ALLAN, MARY ELYSEAs President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Canada, Mary Elyse Allan works to advance the company's leadership in energy infrastructure, technology, media, and financial services. Ms. Allan contributes to Canadian public policy as a Board member of nationally recognized organizations such as the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, C.D. Howe Institute, and the Public Policy Forum. She was recently appointed to the Federal Advisory Committee on Finance. In addition, Ms. Allan is an active member of her community serving as a Director of the Royal Ontario Museum and as former Chair of Providence Healthcare.
STYMIEST, BARBARABarbara Stymiest, of Toronto, has been Chief Operating Officer of RBC Financial Group since 2004. Prior to this, Ms. Stymiest held positions as Chief Executive Officer at TSX Group Inc., Executive Vice-President & CFO at BMO Nesbitt Burns and Partner of Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young. Her community involvement includes serving as Director of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.
GRAHAM, RON (RONALD)Ron Graham is a freelance author and journalist. Mr. Graham is the author of many award-wining books and magazine articles on Canadian politics, history, religion and art. He is the past President of PEN Canada and is currently Chair of the Institute for Contemporary Culture at the Royal Ontario Museum.
TIWARI, ATULAtul Tiwari is Senior Vice-President of BMO Asset Management and has held progressively senior positions with BMO Financial Group since 1991. Mr. Tiwari currently serves on the Campaign Cabinet for the Building Osgoode Campaign, and on the Campaign Cabinet for the Neshama Playground being built in Toronto to provide universal playground access for children of all abilities. He is also a Director of DD Puri Foundation, which provides free medical services in India. Mr. Tiwari was also President and a Board member of the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association.
