GOTTHEIL, MICHAELMichael Gottheil is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in 1987. After working as In-House Counsel for two national trade unions, in 1991, Mr. Gottheil co-founded Engelmann, Gottheil law firm in Ottawa, where he practiced labour, employment and human rights law. He was a Professor at Algonquin College and the University of Ottawa Law School. Mr. Gottheil is a member of the Canadian Association of Visually Impaired Lawyers and, over a twelve-year period, served on the Board of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind as member, Vice-Chair and Chair at the Ottawa local and provincial levels.
YUEN (TAM-YUEN), JANE SAU FUNJane Yuen is President and Broker of Record with HomeLife/Golden East Realty Inc., where she is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and daily operations of real estate services. Previously, Ms. Yuen was a Senior Accountant with Wood Gundy and a Compliance Officer with the Investment Dealers Association. Ms. Yuen is active in her community, volunteering her time and services to churches and non-profit organizations. In addition, she has been a Silver Sponsor for the 2007 and 2008 Artsz Day Annual Gala of the Centre for Information and Community Services of Ontario. Ms. Yuen is a Certified General Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.
EGAN, TERRANCETerrance Egan is a Fee Appraiser in the City of Ottawa with Shore-Tanner Appraisal Services. Mr. Egan started his career in 1987 working with Pigeon Roy Appraisal. He was an Area Property Manager with Thomas C Assaly Corporation and G.E. Browsky, and was a Fee Appraiser with Regional Appraisal Services. Mr. Egan serves as a member and past President, Ottawa Branch of the Ottawa Bytown Rotary Club. In addition, he is a designated Canadian Residential Appraiser with the Ontario Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and is a designated Real Property Administrator with the Building Owners and Managers Association in Ottawa. Mr. Egan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University.
TAYLOR, IAN R.Ian Taylor, of Unionville, is a Real Estate Consultant and Project Manager with Quick Edge Holdings. Previously, Mr. Taylor was Senior Vice President with Monarch Construction, a Property Development Manager with Canadian Freehold Properties, a Property Manager with Capital and Counties Property Corporation, U.K., and a Retail Analyst with Larry Smith Consulting, Switzerland. He holds a Master of Science in Urban Land Appraisal from the University of Reading, U.K., and a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management from the University of London, U.K.
BOYAK, MARKMark B. Boyak, of Hamilton, has been a self-employed fee appraiser since 1991, specializing in ICI appraisals, litigation and expropriation, property assessment, counselling and negotiation, right of ways, market surveys mediation and arbitration. He is a member of the Mediation and Arbitration Association and a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Mr. Boyak has been involved in the community with the Hamilton-Wentworth Task Force on Sustainable Development, the Central Area Plan Implementation Committee and the Hamilton Mountain Sunrise Rotary Club.
MILNE, JOHN E. (JACK)John E. Milne, of Ancaster, was a member of the Board of Negotiation from November 2000 to August 2004. He has had a wide and distinguished real estate appraisal and planning career. He is a member of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He is a former partner of Chambers and Company of Hamilton, Real Estate Brokers. He has also served as a lecturer, Councillor and Deputy Reeve of Ancaster.
SIMMONS, LAWRENCE JOHNLawrence John Simmons, of London, has been a self-employed Appraiser and Real Estate Consultant since 1965, specializing in expropriation assignments. He served as a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and as a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association.
