TRANSITIONAL COUNCIL OF THE COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHS OF ONTARIO


MCKENNA, MARY-ELLEN
Mary-Ellen McKenna has been a sole proprietor of naturopathic medicine since 1996. She has also worked as a naturopath at the Wellness Institute in Toronto and Clinic Supervisor at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Ms. McKenna is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.


DRONYK, ROBERT JOHN
Dr. Robert Dronyk has maintained a practice at the London West Health Centre since 1986. A dual registrant, he holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in addition to Chiropractic and Naturopathic Medicine degrees. Dr. Dronyk has been a member of the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (BDDT-N) since 2002 and currently serves as Secretary/ Treasurer. He is also Chair of the Parenteral Therapy Committee, the Manipulation Committee, and the Complaints Resolution Committee, BDDT-N. In addition, Dr. Dronyk has been a member of the Ontario Track 3 - Ski Association for the past ten years, skiing with disabled children in the Sit Ski program.


CLARKE, BELINDA
Belinda Clarke has been self-employed as a naturopath operating a general family practice since 2000. Ms. Clarke has served as a public member on various committees with the College of Midwives of Ontario, and has been involved with numerous community based organizations. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and was educated at Trent University and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.


RENNIE, PATRICIA JOAN
Patricia J. Rennie is a naturopath specializing in paediatric care, treating a wide range of paediatric health issues from infancy to adolescence. Ms. Rennie taught Paediatrics with the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) for fifteen years, following her graduation from the College. Currently, she supervises a paediatric focus shift at the Outpatient Clinic, CCNM. Ms. Rennie has served on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is Chair of the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy.


BEHRENDT, SHARON
Sharon Behrendt is a self-employed naturopath, and sole proprietor of Orleans Wellness Clinic. Ms. Behrendt serves as a community bulletin writer with Orleans Recreation Complex, authoring naturopathic medicine articles on various health topics once a month. In addition, she has conducted naturopathic seminars and workshops at community centres and health clinics. Previously, Ms. Behrendt served as a workshop presenter with the Orleans' Women's Health Conference, was a Kiwanis Ottawa West Club Volunteer, and a member of the Orleans Division of Women Moving Forward. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

BOOKER, FAY
Fay Booker is Managing Partner of the boutique consulting firm, Booker and Associates. Ms. Booker is a seasoned business consultant with a wealth of experience in corporate governance, strategic planning, risk management and finance. Her stature in the chartered accountancy profession was recognized by being named a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. She has completed formal governance training and was awarded the Chartered Director designation by McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. Ms. Booker has contributed to her community by volunteering with organizations in the health and art sectors. She is a recipient of the Canada 125 Medal for significant contributions to her community.

DE GROOT, NICHOLAS
Nicholas De Groot is Dean at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he is responsible for curriculum and delivery of the post-graduate doctor of naturopathic medicine program. In addition to his role at the College, Mr. De Groot serves as Chair of the Council of Chief Academic and Clinic Officers of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges. He received his Undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and graduated with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

DELANY, DIANNE CATHERINE
Dianne Delany is a long-time volunteer with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, her children's school and her local church. Previously, Ms. Delany worked for the provincial and federal governments.

DJOKIC, BOYANA
Boyana Djokic is a Manager with York Downs Chemists, and is involved in the community providing advice and assistance to new immigrants to Canada. Ms. Djokic is a member of the College of Pharmacists of Ontario, the Association of Compounding Pharmacists of Canada, the American College of Apothecaries, and the Professional Compounding Centres of America.

DOBBIN, KELLY
Kelly Dobbin was a Midwife Assessor with the International Midwifery Pre-Registration Program at Ryerson University, an Emergency Skills Workshop Instructor with the Association of Ontario Midwives, and a Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor with the Canadian Paediatric Society. Ms. Dobbin co-founded and has served as facilitator at PARAMoms. She also served as a volunteer group member of the Transition Advisory Group of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Director of The Informed Parent, and Director of Birth Companions in Guelph. Ms. Dobbin is a member of the Association of Midwives of Ontario.

ELLIS, THOMAS (TOM)
Thomas Ellis is a naturopath and Partner of Alliston Family Health Clinic. Previously, Mr. Ellis was a Senior Research Assistant with the Addiction Research Foundation of Ontario and a Partner of Croft Builders Incorporated. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Dufferin Home Builders' Association and was involved with various committees of the Midwifery Task Force. Mr. Ellis is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors.

GOTLIB, ALLAN CHARLES
Dr. Allan Gotlib is Editor of the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and is Director, Research Programs with the Association. He also serves as Assistant Secretary to the Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation. Previously, Dr. Gotlib was a Professor with the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, and President of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. He has held appointments with the Executive Committee for the Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre, the Deputy Judges Council, the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research President's Voluntary Sector Committee.

KUSSMANN-ARMSTRONG, HEIDI
Heidi Kussman-Armstrong is Founder and Manager of the Armstrong Clinic for Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to this, Ms. Kussman-Armstrong was a Naturopathic Physician with the Corporate Wellness Team. She is an actively involved in the community, volunteering her time to the Compassionate Care Program with Quetzal Homes for Women in Transition. Her past contributions include the Cancer Support and Resource Program Steering Committee and the Queen Alexandra Society. Ms. Kussman-Armstrong is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

NIMMONS, HOLLY
Holly Nimmons has undertaken a number of consulting projects for organizations including: Home Safe, the Dental Association of Ontario, the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario, the College of Denturists of Ontario, and the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants. Ms. Nimmons has also served as Director of Operations and Interim CEO of the Young Women's Christian Association of Canada, and Executive Director of the College of Midwives of Ontario. She was Chair of the School Council of Runnymede Collegiate Institute, and founding member and Co-Coordinator of the Midwifery Task Force of Ontario. She holds membership with the Canadian Society for Association Executives, the Coalition for Music Education in Canada, and the Toronto Women's Health Network.

PRYTULA, MICHAEL ALLEN
Michael Prytula is a naturopath in private practice with over twenty years experience. Previously, Mr. Prytula was a Clinic Supervisor and a fourth year Integrated Practice Management Instructor with the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Medicine, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine, the Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and Research, and is a registered Naturopathic Doctor with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy. Mr. Prytula was educated at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

SULLIVAN, BARRY
Barry Sullivan was a Project Consultant with the Rainbow District School Board and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Mr. Sullivan is Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Child and Family Centre. Previously, he served as President of the Board of Directors of the Sudbury Regional Branch of the Ontario Association of Criminology and Corrections, President and Board member of La Fraternité Community Resource Centre, and a member of the Cambrian College and Canadore College Community Justice Advisory Committees. Mr. Sullivan is a member of the North American Association of Prison Wardens and Superintendents and the Canadian Criminal Justice Association.

CHARNEY, THALIA
Thalia Charney is a naturopath with Touch Wellness Centre and the Optimum Health Centre/Decarm Health. Previously, Ms. Charney was a Corporate Speaker on Health and Wellness with Dynamix Corporate Fitness and Wellness, a Weekly Resident Consultant with Evergreen Natural Foods, and a Naturopathic Library Researcher and Assistant with the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine's Learning Resource Centre. She has been actively involved in her community for many years. Ms. Charney's contributions include serving as a Volunteer Fitness Instructor with the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and Carleton University, Voluntary Educator on Body Images/ Eating Disorders with York and Guelph Universities, and Founder and Coordinator of Students Against Second Hand Smoke at York University.
