Function:  The objects of BIPMAC are to: Identify prospective marketing opportunities and strategies for the Biopharmaceutical Innovation Program (BIP); Identify potential investment opportunities that meet the BIP criteria; Promote Ontario as a premier location for investment generally and biopharmaceutical investment specifically; Promote Ontario's strengths and key messages and help build an awareness, both nationally and internationally, of the benefits of investing in Ontario; Advise the Minister on how the Ministry can increase the effectiveness of BIP.

Membership:  BIPMAC is composed of a maximum of 15 members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council at the recommendation of the Minister. The Lieutenant Governor in Council designates one member as chair and at least one member as vice-chair.

Term:  Members are appointed for a term of a maximum of three years, with possible renewal for one additional term of three years.

Meetings:  Meetings will be held on an ad hoc basis at the discretion of the chair and availability of the members.
