Function:  The committee advises the Minister regarding the allocation of moose tags amongst tourist outfitters and regarding the issues arising from the allocation of black bear management areas to tourist operators.

Membership:  The Lieutenant Governor in Council appoints six members, including the chair.

Term:  The members of the committee may be appointed for a term of three years or less and are eligible for reappointment. Subsequent re-appointments will be for a term of three years.

Meetings:  The committee meets two or three times per year.
